While everyone says that Griffin will be a sure winner in the NBA, less has been said about the possible success of Hansbrough. Does Hansbrough deserve such biased and immature judgment? A proven winner in college basketball but an expected loser in professional basketball?

Griffin was drafted as the 1st pick in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers while Hansbrough was drafted 13th by the Indiana Pacers.

At lease he’s got himself an ally and believer in Larry Bird. Are they criticizing Tyler because he is white guy who claimed numerous awards in college?

Hey guys, at least give this kid a chance. Don’t be so bitter when he was taken in the lottery by the Indiana Pacers. Bird liked his talent, character and work ethic and he is hoping that Hansbrough’s success in collegiate basketball will translate to the pro game. He’s proven according to Bird.

Despite his impressive resume in college, fans and experts continue to criticize him. They said that Hansbrough scored million points in college because he benefited from getting nearly every call and his strange-trajectory shots will be swatted in the NBA.

I’ll give Tyler the chance he deserves. I’m not saying he will be great but I’m also not saying that he will be a bust. Let’s just wait and see. Besides, even Blake Griffin and the rest of the guys picked ahead of Hansbrough have not proven themselves either.
