It's the Cavaliers and Lakers Show! Watch the 2009 NBA Playoffs Live!

With the way the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers are playing, everyone is expecting a Kobe & Lebron show in the upcoming 2009 NBA Finals. Although 16 teams are still competing for the coveted championship, there is no denying how dominant these two teams are playing against their respective opponents in the first round of the playoffs.

On the West side, Denver Nuggets is a good playoff team but not yet a championship caliber team. San Antonio Spurs is still a dangerous veteran team - but they are aging and they don't have Manu Ginobili with them. Portland Trail Blazers is a very athletic and young team but playoff experience is not on their side. Houston Rockets can compete with Lakers - but not without Tracy McGrady. Dallas Mavericks is a stagnant team - they are a great team but they haven't solved their playoff woes. New Orleans Hornets is not as dangerous anymore like last year even with the addition of James Posey. Utah Jazz have Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams but the combo will still not be enough.

On the East side, how can the Boston Celtics compete without Kevin Garnett? Other teams will not find it difficult to identify the weaknesses of the Orlando Magic. Atlanta Hawks is a flying team but their wings will not take them to the Finals. Dwayne Wade - oh I mean Miami Heat - who else should you guard on that team? Philadelphia 76ers can make upsets from time to time but they are inconsistent. Chicago Bulls is a very young team and full of potential but that will not be enough even with the sensational Derrick Rose. And Detroit Pistons, they are not the same tough team that we used to know and they are no longer the favorites - being the only playoff team with a losing record.

But basketball is basketball. NBA is not just where amazing happens. It is also where the upsets, the unexpected, the surprises happens.
